Watching TV

Watching TV, originally uploaded by krimple.

This was originally taken with my iPhone. Yes, it's got a TERRIBLE camera, much worse than even other camera phones. But, here's how I fixed the image:

1. Open it in LightRoom

2. Switch to Greyscale

3. Adjust black point and contrast to suit

4. Adjust tonality using the black and white mixer, but not manually. They have this great little tool that looks like a circle with an up and down arrow. Click it, then click anywhere in the picture and drag the mouse up (brighten) or down (darken) the color that equates to that tone.
