Deconstruction Zone #1

My sons and a friend's son working through the hardware. It was fun breaking stuff apart without getting in trouble!

Let me out!

Caught this one when we were at Longwood Gardens in the new Children's Gardens.  I highly recommend them.  This is a little window next to the lizard fountain and the maze.

I only had a few seconds, so I jumped down, aimed and shot a few frames.  This one came out.  Good thing I had my wide angle lens handy.

Watching TV

This was originally taken with my iPhone. Yes, it's got a TERRIBLE camera, much worse than even other camera phones. But, here's how I fixed the image:

1. Open it in LightRoom

2. Switch to Greyscale

3. Adjust black point and contrast to suit

4. Adjust tonality using the black and white mixer, but not manually. They have this great little tool that looks like a circle with an up and down arrow. Click it, then click anywhere in the picture and drag the mouse up (brighten) or down (darken) the color that equates to that tone.
